We crossed plants chosen from the Roadrunner variety with a JYD Haze, with the idea in mind of changing the characteristic taste of all the automatics.

It seems that these plants include a characteristic flavour and their quick flowering in the same genetic "pack". The characteristic flavour, somewhat "green", like grass or textile cannabis, is something that makes some of the more demanding growers-who may be more accustomed to sweeter, more fruity tastes, strong and aromatic- to be disinterested for this variety.

We have tried to make increase  the difference in taste even further, taking it from the automatic scope  of flavours to the non-automatic. What we have achieved is something worthy of satisfaction: apart from the flavour, the size of the plants has increased, as has its productivity and strength. The resin is more abundant, completely covering the petioles and the bottom of the upper leaves, the production of large glandular trichomes has also increased, both in the buds and the leafy bracts that surround them.

The result is an much better automatic with a heavier yield, covered with resin from top to toe. It grows to about 100 cm in perfect conditions and produces impressive compact buds, totally aromatic and full of flowers, and in only 80 days.

It doesn't have the effect of a sativa, because although the levels of THC have become more, the levels of CBD remain high due to the automatic genetic pack. That is a small problem compared to being able to grow it almost expense-free under the summer sun, and at the same time solving the problem of crop thieves!

The best season possible for cultivating these plants outdoors in continental Europe, mountain areas, or anywhere north of parallel 45º, is the last week of May in a mild year, harvesting around 1 August, or the second week of June when summer arrives late, harvesting the last week of August. In this second case, there is more risk of summer rainfalls in the second half of August, and the strength of the sun is lower as the summer solstice passes. For this reason, it is recommendable to bring forward the sowing to the end of May, that way harvesting can be carried out when the sun is at its brightest
